MONDAY- Burger Madness- Cheeseburger and Fries - $6.99 For Lunch

This is one of my Favorite places to eat, for many years now, I use to go to the one in Kenwood, but it closed, also I believe the one in Covington is now gone, not sure about any other locations, but this one is still in Western Hills, we got a Groupon Coupon for this one a great deal, I've always started out with one of my Favorite appetizers anywhere, The HEART STOPPER - Waffle fries topped with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, ranch dressing, bacon and green onions 8.99 I get this to start my meal anytime I've ever eaten here, it's a Delicious app and I definitely recommend it. I've also had many of their other appetizers and they have all been very good, so try anything they have with confidence.
Next, we ordered our Burgers and my Wife ordered the TACO SALAD - 8.99
Fresh iceberg lettuce topped with your choice of chili or seasoned
chicken, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, pico de gallo, black
olives, sour cream, and guacamole. Served with tortilla chips 8.99
Willie's burgers are a half-pound of fresh ground beef cooked to tender medium-well.

Served with lettuce, tomato, red onion and French fries. Substitutions for an extra charge.
We both thought this was one of the better Taco Salads we've had anywhere.

Now on to the Burgers, all the years I had been going to Willie's in Kenwood, I had never tried their Burgers, now I'm glad I finally had one, I decided upon the Double RR Burger - 8.99 A half pound patty grilled to perfection and topped with BBQ sauce, ham and Swiss cheese 10 different Burgers, it was a tough Choice, the Fries were also very good.

I love Roney's the old Roy Rogers Restaurant Double R Burger, the Ham on it, gives it an extra added nice flavor.

This was a big Burger, not too big, but just about right, the whole thing looked very nice, nice presentation on it, it was piled pretty high with all the toppings, my first bite again always gives me my best idea of where I will head with the review, and this one was excellent, I couldn't wait to dig into it further, we both tried it out as we did her Taco salad.

Right away I knew this was a top 10 Burger on our list and definitely a challenger for top 5 for sure, they asked how I wanted it cooked, and as usual I got it Medium-Well the meat definitely had some spices which are always another good sign, and it tasted absolutely delicious, all the toppings were fresh and very good, the bun was good, but it could be even better with a nice Brioche Bun from GFS in Cincinnati, they could easily get their buns there, but these were still ok.

I have already purchased us another Groupon Coupon for this one and can't wait to go back and hope the Burgers are as good as they were on this trip.

The Waiter was very nice, a bit forgetful, but overall he was good, the place was nice and clean and big, we stopped in for lunch, on a weekend, it had a lot of people, it's located in a very busy area of Glenway Avenue, but has a lot of parking as it sits up on a hill, very easy to get into.

It's a Sports Bar, has several Tv's if you go to watch Sports.

Final Thoughts: I definitely recommend this place, the appetizers are excellent and the Burgers just as good, this one is top 10 and for sure top 5 on our list, now I must decide exactly where to place it on the list, I can't wait to go back soon, the 1st of the year to try it again, one of the few places where the burger is so good, I'm still tasting it after we leave and wanting more and already planning another trip back.

Food Definitions!

Hand-Made- made by hand, not by machine, and typically therefore of superior quality.
Made to Order- specially made according to a customer's specifications.
Char-Grilled- grill (food, typically meat or fish) quickly at a high heat.
Medium Well- Mostly gray-brown throughout, but with a hint of pale pink inside. Good for someone who wants an ever-so-slightly juicy Meat, but detests any sign of "blood" in their meat.

Medium- A more pronounced band of pink in the middle of the Meat. However, there should still be slightly more gray-brown than pink coloration.

Well done- Grayish-brown with no sign of pink, usually slightly charred on the outside. Cooking a good meat to this level of doneness is a challenge. It has to be done slowly on low heat, or else you end up with shoe leather.

Pre-Made Frozen Patty - This is not 100% real beef, it's just that a piece of whatever, that comes Pre-made up in a Patty and Frozen in a box of a Dozen or more, not real beef, some can be good, but most are not.
